A sacred space for a journey towards the center of the soul, guided by Mangku Alit Ajna. A mandala of inner journey, where one returns to the soul, purifies the self, and discovers clarity of awareness.
At some point in our lives, we may feel tired of the journey. Sometimes we feel unhappy, stuck, and unable to move forward. We may lose our sense of direction and no longer know where our path is leading us. Life can feel difficult and heavy, and there are moments when we realize that we no longer truly recognize ourselves.
We may carry pain, old wounds, emotional struggles, and constant battles between the mind and the heart. Sometimes, the things happening in our lives no longer feel aligned, and we find ourselves searching for clarity, meaning, or simply a way to feel connected with ourselves again. In moments like these, sometimes what we need is not another answer, but a space to pause, breathe, reflect, and allow ourselves to heal.
Sukma Mandala Mangku Alit Ajna Retreat is created as such a space. Located in Bali, this three-day retreat brings together the richness of Balinese culture, traditions, and spiritual practices with the healing experience of Maha Guru Mangku Alit Ajna. With 21 years dedicated to serving others and 17 years dedicated to traditional Balinese healing, Maha Guru Mangku Alit Ajna guides participants through a deeply personal journey of healing, energy, spiritual experience, and wisdom.
This retreat is an opportunity to step away from the routines, responsibilities, and noise of everyday life and give yourself time to reconnect with what is happening within. Through healing sessions, energy work, meditation, purification processes, spiritual practices, and direct personal experiences, each participant is given the opportunity to explore their inner state and experience a deeper connection with themselves.
The healing process may touch different aspects of our being—our energy, emotions, thoughts, inner wounds, and the experiences we carry throughout our lives. Every person arrives with a different story and a different energetic condition, therefore every healing experience is unique. There is no single process that must be experienced in exactly the same way by everyone.
The retreat takes place within the living atmosphere of Bali, where spiritual traditions, sacred spaces, culture, and daily life are deeply connected. These surroundings become part of the experience, creating an environment where participants can slow down, become more present, and experience the healing process more deeply.
Throughout the three days, the journey unfolds gradually. It begins with recognizing and revisiting the path that has brought us to where we are today, continues into purification, healing, and energetic release, and moves towards deeper stillness, awareness, and integration.
DAY 1 — LELAKU PUNAR SMERTI
The Journey of Remembering
Lelaku means a journey or spiritual path, while Punar Smerti refers to returning to remembrance and awareness.
The first day is a journey of looking back and recognizing the path that has brought you here. Through spiritual experiences, reflection, Balinese traditions, energy work, and guided healing processes, participants are invited to become aware of their experiences, patterns, relationships, choices, wounds, and lessons.
This is a process of napak tilas batin—revisiting the inner journey not to remain in the past, but to recognize it, understand its meaning, and see ourselves more clearly.
DAY 2 — MAHA SUDHA SUKMA
The Great Purification of the Soul
Maha Sudha Sukma represents the purification of the sukma—the deeper inner self.
The second day focuses on healing, purification, release, and energy transformation. Participants experience processes intended to help release emotional burdens, inner attachments, accumulated energy, and things that may no longer be aligned with their present journey.
Through Balinese spiritual practices, healing, energy work, and direct experience, this day creates a deeper space for purification and renewal. It is a process of becoming lighter, clearer, and more balanced within.
DAY 3 — SAMADHI SUKSMA
Into Stillness and Inner Awareness
Samadhi refers to deep concentration and meditative awareness, while Suksma refers to the subtle and inner dimension of being.
The third day moves inward, from healing and purification towards stillness, awareness, and integration. Participants are guided through meditation, energetic awareness, spiritual experience, and inner practices, allowing the experiences of the previous days to settle naturally within.
This is a time to become quiet enough to listen, to recognize the movement of energy without forcing it, and to experience a deeper connection between the heart, mind, energy, and consciousness.
The three days are not designed to produce the same experience for everyone. Each person has their own journey, and the process unfolds according to their individual condition, readiness, and experience.
The journey concludes with direct experience, deeper awareness, and a deeper understanding of oneself.
Sukma Mandala is held every month in Bali on the 7th, 8th, and 9th, with a maximum of seven participants per retreat.
The limited number of participants allows the retreat to remain intimate and personal, creating space for each individual to experience the healing process more deeply and receive closer guidance throughout the three days.
You may come alone or together with others. Whether you arrive carrying uncertainty, emotional weight, exhaustion, or simply the feeling that you need to reconnect with yourself, Sukma Mandala offers a space to pause, experience, release, and return inward.
